In this auction we have for you an absolutely beautiful Carrot Red head doll. This is a gorgeous Red Head is an Allied Eastern doll with Blue gorgeous eyes. Her hair was just flat in braids and the short cropped in the back. I left one of the dolls as is, which is this one and then I rerooted all over the other one. Carrot Top Red heads are hard to find, and if you want a Patti Carrot Top you are looking at spending at least $800-$1000.00 or more. Well if that amount is not in your budget then maybe this Allied Eastern will work for you. I love the AE dolls, they are as pretty to me as the Madame Alexander Janie dolls. Now this doll has the long pig tails and the short cropped back. You could finish it and re-root the rest or leave it as is. My daughter loved it short with the pig tails. The hair is clean and silky, its not dry nor is it brittle. This doll has gorgeous blue eyes, so you can leave her in the green or put something on her in blue, both colors are striking on her. The Allied Eastern's were made between 1950's-1960's, and were made to compete with Patti Playpals and the Princess Peggy dolls. This doll has resided with us for a very long time.
