3 Cars AF American Flyer 803 ATSF Boxcar 923 IC Reefer, 938 Bobtail Caboose, AFL Cleaned, Oiled, Repaired if Needed, Ready to Run! I will let the pictures do most of the describing. Need more pictures, just ask! 1954-55 AF S-gauge AMERICAN FLYER LINES unlighted 938 red-painted black plastic caboose , sheet-metal frame, and original knuckle coupler on sintered-iron truck and a factory bobtail on the rear truck. These 938 cars painted on the black bodies are a rich dark red, and this one has almost no sign of play. Right-hand doorknob, brass railings lightly tarnished, was not manufactured with brake wheels, and solid lightly tarnished metal chimney. All 4 steps, 4 roof corners and both catwalk end are near perfect. Lettering and numbering is perfect. The frame has surface rust. The car is clean, shinny, oiled, couples and rolls great. Wheels, axles, and couplers were cleaned and lubricated. The car is clean, shinny, oiled, repaired if needed, couples and rolls great. Car body grades C-7 Excellent condition, so C-6 due to rust. AF American Flyer 923 IC ILLINOIS CENTRAL 1954-55 Orange-painted refrigerated boxcar . The car is Orange-painted over black plastic, giving it a rich deep-orange color. Original operating knuckle couplers and black sintered-iron truck side frames on a sheet metal frame with spotty rust on the frame bottom.
