Up for auction is an awesome set of 4 AMT late 40's early 50's polished aluminum top train cars. There is very little corrosion on any, but may need to be cleaned and buffed as you like. No dents or major scratches at all. I tested all the lights and they all work but a couple need to have the wire reattached. Should be an easy fix. One of the couplers on the RPO has the knuckle broken all the others are fine. The trucks and coupler attachments may need to be cleaned and lubricated as they do seem a bit stiff. Once again not a major task. All the wheels turn freely. There are 3 of the original boxes included as well. One is complete with the end flaps and closures there. The other 2 have some damage. See photos. Below is a list of the items in this lot. What a great set!!!RPO # 3407 with mail catcher on both sides present.
