I am offering a carte de visite by Sutterley of Virginia City, Nevada Territory. This carte features a man sitting in a large studio chair. He remains unidentified, but he looks familiar. Perhaps some research will lead to his identity. Carte is in very good to excellent condition with sharp corners. Print displays great tone and sharpness. Soiling is minimal. These views are rare, feature residents of a well-known frontier mining town and were taken by an important early photographic studio. Buyer is responsible for shipping and handling.
