This bakelite pin is from the old bakelite factory that closed years and years ago. The pin is a book piece and in great condition. but the pin is dirty needs cleaning. This is an elephant very rare , hard to find. The clasp is a c hook. The color is rare red. The back is connected by rivets all original even the chain Deep carved and from the 1930's. The pin measures 2 1/4" by 3" long. and the book price is 500.00 and up. these seldom show up for sale, instead they stay in private collections. This is one of the only 3 bakelite elephants left from the bakelite factory. Sorry No more articulated elephants left. Please bid now as late bidding will cause you to forget and miss this prize.
