Rare Carved Masonic Cane Superb elegant macassar ebony cane with an ox-bone pommel handle with relief carved Masonic symbols (not etched or engraved) The top with an all seeing eye, on the side the traditional dividers and set square and finally on the opposite face in a triangle the letters TH – HZI. I understand the Z represents Zerubbabel – Prince of Jerusalem, the H Haggai the Prophet and I is Joshua the High Prince (A.K.A. Josiah in Bristol and Irish ‘chapters’ – no its not me!! - information from a scholarly friend who studies Masonic rituals and history. There is a horn and ox-bone collar and the cane ends with a matching long ferrule. All in good condition and I assume never actually used as a support or walking aid. Length 35 ½”(90.2) Handle 3”(7.6) incl.collar. Please return broken items in original packaging as I cannot make a claim without it. Paypal only from foreign buyers.
