Case Centennial 1989 3 Knife Set of Lockbacks from Mint Set SN#392 each, 1 of 500From 1989, the 100th Anniversary Centennial year of W.R.Case, here are 3 Case Brushed Stainless Lockback knife patterns from the Case Centennial Mint Set that have not been used, carried, or sharpened. Please see photo #3 for details taken from page 14 of the 1989 Case Knife Dealer Catalog which gives details and item numbers for this set of knives. Each of these scarce and near mint knives are etched on the front of the Drop Point blades with "CASE XX TESTED CENTENNIAL 1889-1989." The blade front tangs of each are stamped CASE XX 1889 1989. The rear tangs of each are pattern stamped and include the M1054L SSP, which measures 3 1/8" closed. Also the 059L SSP which measures 3 1/8" closed, and the M1056L SSP which measures 2 1/2" closed. Each knife is engraved with the Serial Number 392 and the Case "Long Tail C" on the front handle, lower right corner. They are #392 of a total of 500 Mint Sets produced. In 1989 Case issued the Centennial Collection Mint Set. There was a total of 100 knives in the Set in either Red Bone, Genuine Stag, or Gold Flake handles and they produced a total of 3,000 Sets.
