This knife is a lovely 1989 Case Centennial GS233 SS Senators Knife, 2 5/8" closed, with the Goldflake scales. This Case Goldflake Centennial Senators Knife, has slightly flared scales due to its age. Both blades have good "walk and talk" snap.This Case Goldflake Senators Knife has never been used or carried whatsoever and it is complete with the blue and silver Case factory box and the MUCH older original Case factory brochure.The etching on the master Spear blade reads Case XX Tested Centennial 1889-1989. The front tang of the master Clip blade is stamped with Case XX 1889 1989, and the rear tang of the small Spear blade is pattern stamped with GS233 SS. The shield is the special encircled Case Centennial Shield; this shield was used exclusively for the Case Centennial collection knives in 1989.Please be sure to see the Supersize Photos as this is the EXACT knife the purchaser will receive. The Case Item number is 02218. The knife has never been used or carried but the small spear blade is loose a little from side to side when open.
