This Mint Condition Case Classic Whittler is from my personal collectionand has been carefully stored since it was purchased new. Details are asfollows:> 3 Blade 83 Pattern Whittler features Flawless Gold-Lipped Pearl Scaleswith no cracks, including near the pins, and no chips or other defects. (Bothfront and back scales are backed by a thin, less than 1 mm, white materialsandwiched between each pearl scale and the liner. I do not know what thismaterial is or it's purpose. Protection from brass liners?) The Nickel SilverOval Shield is stamped CASE in raised letters.> Blades are Carbon Steel with the Master Clip blade having a regular pullwith tang stamp CASE BROTHERS Bradford, PA 19 USA 93. The reverse ofthe master blade is engraved 1 OF 5 near the tang. The small Clip and Penblades also have regular pulls and both have the same tang stamp of CASEBROS. TESTED XX Bradford, PA. Blades have a few contact rubs on themfrom opening/closing as are often found on multi blade knives with closetolerances. Both clip blades have excellent walk and talk snap. The pen bladesnap, while still adequate, is not as strong.> Whittler is 3 1/2" long closed with Nickel Silver Bolsters and pins. Theliners are brass. Knife may have a few very light marks on bolsters and back-springs from handling and storage.> Knife comes with the Original Box as supplied
