This Sleeveboard is another in our Checkerboard designed knives. The Checkerboard is in the very center and then we put down mother of pearl.. Please note that there is a very small chink out if the pearl around the Checkerboard on the back side.. Nothing to tqake away from the great looks of the knife but if I don't tell everyone about this little chink it might be construed that I was trying to hide it and that coukd not be furthest from the truth. In doing such extremely tight inlays some times a little piece gets broken off and isn't discovered until after the piece has gone to the buffing wheel and is going out to be sold.. Anyway this sleeveboard hass a black jett background and then we used an art deco style of inlay that just really opops off of this piece.. We used AAA-1 mother off pearl on the insides of the art deco and it all jsut goes very well together.. The Ruby Red Opal really stands out on this knife as does the Green Kiwi and the Violet Opal..
