This is a 1999 issue Case Limited Edition 6 Mint Set Edition Peanut for auction, 2 7/8" closed, with Case's Old Black Smoothbone (cattle bone) scales. This knife was produced in a quantity of 250 pieces with the Case factory scrolled nickel silver bolsters as it came directly from the complete 1999 Case Limited XX Series 6 Mint Set shown in the photo. This auction is for the Case Peanut only. Each knife in the Limited XX Edition 6 Mint Set is tang stamped with Case XX with 1 Dot, dating them as 1999 issue Case knives. Each knife I will be auctioning out of this fine set has the official Case Long Tail C serialization and #237 and the factory engraved nickel silver bolsters. This Case Peanut is tang stamped on the master Clip blade with Case XX USA with 1 Dot, dating this as a 1999 issue Case knife, while the rear tang of the small Spear blade is pattern stamped with 6220 SS.
