Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some fine Case Knives for auction from a great Case Knife Collection. Please Read Through The Auction Information In Entirety.This knife for auction is one of the 1989 issue Case Centennial Collection knives, issued as a part of the Case Centennial Collection Mint Set in a quantity of 500 pieces total.W.R. Case & Sons issued the Centennial Collection Mint Set in 1989 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Case's existence in the world of cutlery. There were a total of 100 knives in the set with the knives in the set being manufactured with Genuine Stag, Redbone (cattle bone), or Goldflake handles.Folks the only way to get one of these knives individually is to find one out of a set that is being broken up and that's what I'm doing.There were a total of only 500 Case Centennial Mint Sets released. My father, the late Jim Parker, owned W.R. Case & Sons from 1988-1990 and was the owner when the Case Centennial Collection was issued.This knife for auction is the 1989 issue Case Genuine Stag Centennial Mint Set 52005 Razor , 3 7/8" closed, with an absolutely super pair of Genuine India Stag (deer stag) handles.
