This knife for auction is the 2007 issue, Case Collectors Club Special Factory Order Genuine Stag Saddlehorn, 4 5/8" closed . This knife was offered exclusively to the membership of the Case Collectors Club and a a member had to send in an order form just to apply to get one of these. A random drawing was held to select the winners who could buy the knives. Just because a CCC member ordered one of these did not mean they actually got to purchase it! This Case Saddlehorn has a gorgeous pair of Genuine Stag (deer stag) scales and the exclusive Case XX Collectors Club oval style shield. This Case Stag Saddlehorn was produced in a quantity of only 500 pieces and is tang stamped on the master Clip blade with Case XX and 3 X's, dating this a 2007 issue Case knife, with the rear tang of the Spey blade being pattern stamped with USA 52100 SS. The blades are produced with Case's Tru Sharp Surgical Steel and the bolsters are nickel silver.
