This knife for auction is a SUPER RARE 1981 issue Case "Texas Lockhorn" Double Lockblade, 4 1/2" closed, with the Smooth White Composition scales. This Case Texas Lockhorn has the rarest handle material that was available. There were 2 varieties, one with Micarta handles and this one, the Smooth White Composition variety. The master Clip blade is tang stamped with Case XX SS (Lightning SS) USA with 9 Dots, dating this as a 1981 issue Case knife, with the opposite Clip blade being pattern stamped with Texas Lockhorn. Of course this Case "Texas Lockhorn" hasn't been used or carried, the rear side handle has some staining. Both blades have good "walk and talk" snap. The blades are produced with Case Tru Sharp Surgical Cutlery Steel and nickel silver bolsters and pins. Please be sure to see the Supersize Photos as this is the EXACT knife the winning bidder
