This is a nice EXTREMELY RARE Case XX 6265 Folding Hunter knife. It has been used. Tang has the OLD XX No Dots Tang Stamping. It reads Only CASE XX and is a Old 1940 ERA knife. Handles are EXTREMELY RARE on this one. It has the RED ROGERS BONE Handles. ROGERS BONE is getting to be VERY HARD TO FIND ANYW Front handle is GREAT LOOKING and is a OUTSTANDING Piece of RED ROGERS BONE. No cracks or chips and is Just Great Looking. Back handle is not as good of shape as the front. It has a 2 little cracks at the top corners very small and light. The right side of the handle is a little loose not bad it just moves a teeny bit may be loose at the pin hard to tell. Worst of all is that it has a fill in a little over and under the middle pin. I tried to take 2 pics of it. It is bigger under the pin than over it. The bone had chipped out t and someone filled it in. Still Nice looking but has the 2 little cracks, loose on the right side a little, and the fill in. Bolsters and Shield are Clean with light handling. They are really in Good shape for as old as the knife is. Backspring has been lightly cleaned with 2 teeny specks. Blades have been cleaned with blade loss, buffing marks, and you can see 2 little pitting marks that are still t but are light. Blades have Good snap. SUCH A RARE RED ROGERS BONE 6265 FOLDING HUNTER 1940 ERA knife. VERY RARE
