Knife was manufactured by W R Case & Son's Cutlery Co. in 1995. The pattern is 82109X SS, with the 8, denoting Genuine Mother of Pearl, and the trailing SS stands for Stainless Steel. This pattern is called a Mini Copperhead, due to the copperhead shape of the bolster. Knife measures right at 3 1/8 inches long, closed. The master blade is a clip point, secondary is a pen. Both blades have good snap, and some small areas of very light scratches from opening and closing. Not highly visible, and not distracting. Brass pins and liners, nickel silver bolsters. Knife does not have a shield. Knife does have very pretty and colorful genuine Mother Of Pearl Handles. It's really hard to get good pictures of the luster of Pearl. I've tried several ways and hope that comes through. This is a very attractive knife. Any display would be improved with it in it. Condition of knife is Excellent Unsharpened. Has been from display to display, and no box, so it show some light wear. No big deal, and would not take much to shine right up. You really do not see too many Case knives without a shield.
