HI, This Auction is for a very nice two blade Slim Trapper pattern pocket knife made by the W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company. This knife measures 4 1/8 " in the closed position and features chip free beautiful dark brown jigged Delrin with the very famous Case logo Nickle & Silver oval inlay shield.T is one very tight stress crack at the center pin on the back scale.I'm sure that it left the factory this way. This knife has never been used, carried or re-sharpened.The bolsters are made of Nickle & Silver and the pins & liners are brass. The blades are made of Tru-Sharp Surgical Stainless Steel which is known for it's Razor sharp edge and stain resisting ability. The blades do have new knife opening and closing snap with no side play while at the open position. The tang stamp on the Master blade is Case XX Stainless U.S.A. with nine dots under the U.S.A..The secondary Spay type blade has 62048 SP SSP stamped on it's tang indicating that the back springs are also Stainless Steel. These types are very easy to keep. The etching in the Master blade of Tested Razor Edge is full and missing none of it's color or print. The only flaws that I can see to mention would be some light handling scratches on the blades. This very collectible pocket knife is in very near mint condition and would make a great addition to any vintage pocket knife collection read more
