W.R. Case & Sons DE161501L Green Bone Lockblade Solingen Germany 2001 Knife Item #02982 In 2001, W.R. Case & Sons had 9 different knife patterns produced in Germany by some of the finest German Knifemakers. Included were 3 fixed blade and 6 folding knives handled in Stag, Green Bone, Chestnut Bone, or Thuya Wood. All had blades of 440 C Stainless Steel. From that scarce series, here is a beautiful Green Bone Case XX DE161501L Lock-Blade pattern knife that has not been used, carried, or sharpened. It is a like new, still in the box knife. It comes in the original W.R.Case box with dated label of 11/14/01 and warranty paper. The warranty paper is larger than the usual Case paper and unfolds to reveal all the information about this knife, including how to determine the date. (please move your mouse & pointer over the photos to enlarge and read the facts about this German Case Knife). It has beautiful Nickel Silver Bolsters and Liners with Case XX Shield. The 440 stainless, mirror polished blade has a very sharp factory edge and excellent snap at opening and closing. No spotting or pitting. The locking and unlocking mechanism works easily and flawlessly. The knife has pretty Jigged Green Bone handles. There is a very small stabilized hairline crack on the front handle at the far left, between the first pin and liner (see last photo) read more
