HI, This Auction is for a rare 1979 large three blade Stockman pattern pocket knife made by the W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company Bradford,PA.This knife measures just shy of 4" in the closed position and features chip & crack free genuine smooth green Bone. This knife has never been used, carried or re-sharpened.The bolsters are made of Nickle & Silver and the pins & liners are Brass. The blades are made of Cases special formula of Hi- Carbon Alloy Cutlery Steel which is known for it's ability to take the keenest edge and hold it and it's ability to be easily re-sharpened.The blades do have new knife opening and closing snap with no side play while at the open position. The tang stamp on the Master blade is Case xx U.S.A.with one dot under the U.S.A.The secondary Seep Foot type blade has SG 63047 stamped on it's tang. The only flaws that I can see to mention would be some common blade rubs. This big beauty is super clean inside and out. This very collectible pocket knife is in near mint condition and in my opinion would make a fine addition to any vintage pocket knife collection. The resell value of a Case pocket knife is one of the best since they always have been and probably always be the King of the tradders. So it really is an investment opportunity, because you just can't go wrong with a Case! So good Luck! Thanks for looking at my Auction read more
