This Auction is for a: W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Hand Crafted Knives Since 1889 CASE XX “Hunter” Fixed Blade Hunting Knife with a Genuine Brown Leather Belt Sheath This Knife up for Auction is a CASE XX “Slab Side Hunter” with Bone Scales made to look like Smooth Yellow Chestnut with Delicate Jigged Maple Leaves. This Knife comes with a Genuine Dark Brown Leather Belt Sheath with a Basket Weave Pattern on the main section. The Blade on this knife is made of Case Tru-Sharp® Surgical Stainless Steel Highly Polished with a Full Blade Tang. The Case Pattern Number for this knife is “678-3 1/2 SS” and the Case Item Number is “98289” made in 2005. The Pommel, Finger Guard and Pins are made of Nickel Silver with the Pommel have Detailed Scrolling enhancing the overall appearance of the knife. There is a Black Spacer between the Full Blade Tang and the Yellow Chestnut Scales. The Blade on this knife is 3 1/2” Long and the whole knife is 7 ¼” long. The knife comes in the original Box and to the best of my knowledge and the knife’s appearance has never been used. This Knife, Leather Sheath and Box are in Excellent to Mint Condition with no chips, cracks, dents, scratches or shrinkage on the Handles, and there is no indication the knife has ever been carried, used, or the Blade sharpened.
