This is an excellent example of this model. It is in exceptional condition and is fully working. It has been professionally serviced and tested. It is in immaculate and clean condition. There is a minor 'ding' to the left of the volume control but the membrane covers this and is intact. There are minor surface scratches here and there but they are not very noticeable. All of the keys work as do all of the function and indicators.This is an ideal collectors piece for anyone who knows their 80's keyboards and appreciates those original sounds. Supplied with non-original 240vac/9V DC adaptor and manual. No original accessories or packaging. Works off batteries or external supply of 9V DC @ 5.4 watts. The CZ-101 was the first and best-selling synthesizer in this line. Approximately 68,500 were manufactured. Released in November 1984, it was one of the first (if not the first) fully programmable polyphonic synthesizers that was available for under $500. In order to keep the price low, several compromises were made. The CZ-101 only had 49 keys (4 octaves from C to C) instead of the 61 keys most synthesizers had. Instead of full sized keys, the CZ-101 used miniature keys. The CZ-1000 was the second fully programmable phase distortion synthesizer that Casio introduced.
