Excellent condition Casio MG-510 midi guitar. This guitar has been well played but is in great condition for a guitar build in 1987. Brilliant Strat style guitar with rosewood fingerboard. Two covered single coil pickups and one covered humbucker at the bridge. The humbucker has a coil-tap switch to switch it to a single coil. Requires 9 volt power to operate the midi pickup. Can be powered with battery or standard 9 volt power supply. Can be played as a regular passive guitar without power if desired. Midi pickup can be blended with guitar pickups to create unique sounds. Guitar connects to midi sound source via a standard midi cable (not included). Tracking is good with these guitars, especially when used with string pad sounds etc. Guitar has built in guitar tuner. Please note: I no longer have a midi sound source to play the guitar through but the midi pickup worked flawlessly for years when I used to gig with this instrument. To test the midi pickup I plugged the guitar (via a midi cable) into a rack mounted guitar processor and I used the midi program change function to switch patches. This worked without any problems so I am more than confident that the midi pickup is working just as it should. General condition of this guitar is very good.
