This is the Eagle & Eaglets mechanical bank cir. 1883 made by J & E Stevens .There are no cracks or damage to any of the cast iron and still has its nice original paint .It is a nice example of an early American toy.To operate , place a coin into the mother birds beak , twist the lever in the back and she will drop it down into the nest.At the same time , the baby birds open there beaks as if being fed.The bottom is cast " PAT JAN 23 1883 " .The bottom has its patd. round coin trap .Has glass eyes.The size is aprox. 6 " tall x 6 3/4 " long x 4 " wide.The shipping total includes insurance and delivery confirmation.International shipping is fine and will be actual with no mark up.Please view all the other banks we have up for auction.Good luck should you decide to bid !
