Griswold #8 Tite-Top Dutch Oven with Lid & Trivet - This wonderful Tite-Top Dutch Oven comes complete with the original lid and the original trivet! Sits flat with no warping or wobbling. We find no chips, cracks or breaks. This is an excellent item either for use or to add to your collection! The top of the lid is marked: GRISWOLD | No 8 | TITE-TOP DUTCH OVEN and underneath of the lid is marked PATENTED FEB. 10. 1920. | GRISWOLD | ERIE PA., U.S.A. | 2551A The bottom of the Dutch oven bears the marks : THE GRISWOLD MFG. CO. | CAST 8 IRON | TITE-TOP DUTCH OVEN | GRISWOLD | ERIE, PA., U.S.A. | “PAT’D MAR. 16, 20.” | 833B The trivet is marked: THE GRISWOLD MFG. CO. ERIE. PA., U.S.A. | 8 | TRIVET | 206 Size: Pot is approximately 10" in diameter and is about 4" tall (excluding the lid). Weight: 9 pounds 4 ounces We have owned this piece for more than 20 years . . . and now have decided to go live and travel full time in an RV!
