This is a rare 1930's cast iron replica of Harvard's famous stadium The Stadium, a gift of the Class of 1879, was constructed in four-and-a-half months at the cost of just $310,000. Built in 1903, it is also the nation’s oldest stadium. Harvard Stadium is a horseshoe and is considered an engineering marvel, as it was the world’s first massive reinforced concrete structure and the first large permanent arena for American college athletics. With a seating capacity of 30,323, Harvard Stadium is praised for its outstanding sightlines. It is in Monumental Miniatures, plate 773. The stadium measures 5.25" x 4" x 1.25" tall and retains about 85% of its original paint. I suggest you look at the photos as the best source of condition and other information.
