A quality done Santa, cast in iron from the original antique Santa Claus bank. Put a coin in Santa's hand, press down the lever on base and Santa throws the coin into the chimney The detailing on Santa's face is excellent as is the rest of the piece, capturing the authenticity of the original from which it was cast. It's nicely painted--the toys in Santa's bag are painted in gold leaf. The words "SANTA CLAUS" are embossed on top of the white base. On the bottom of the base it says: "Limited Edition 1982". This piece is in mint condition. It stands 5 3/4 inches tall. The bank opens at the bottom to remove the money This is a fun as well as practical piece. Save money for your next e-bay purchase!
