Hey Folks, Here is a 9" tall and 7" wide bulbous Scratch Jug with date of June 28th 2015, Gary Mitchell and Catawba County NC signed with Gary's own hand! Note the blue rutile runs and pearls that came out during the wood firing!Signed also with the number 24 signifying the 24th burning of the wood kiln and also Gary Mitchell, Catawba County NC and GM...Also has the Catawba Valley Seal. Gary is one of the most well known of the potters in the Catawba Valley NC and has been making pottery for nearly 25 years.
