Offered is a pair of gold Catherine Popesco genuine Swarovski crystal earrings. They measure 1 9/16" from the top of the lever back clasp to the bottom of the dangling pendant. Each earring has 8 clear, 19 smoky, and one larger clear irridescent Swarovski crystal stone at the top. They, as all of Catherine Popesco's earrings, are remarkably light weight for their size. They are new and have no missing crystals. These are from the Catherine Popesco "La Vie Parisienne" collection. According to the tag (you will get a copy with your purchase), "Our collection originates in old Parisian workshops that were established over two hundred years ago. The elegant designs are rendered from the original molds that were created by the artists of the celebrated jewelry period from 1900 through the 1930's. Every piece is carefully elaborated by hand following the traditional steps. Our pieces are made of 'Old Silver' a unique French process of laying sterling silver over a copper base. All the crystals are hand set and the enameling is done with tiny brushes employing diverse color combinations. This allows each piece to exhibit highly individual quality and uniqueness that reflects the art and culture of the past and holds a valuable place in the present."
