This knife is almost 3 1/2 inches closed. The blade has been sharpened and used but still has most of the original shape. Tang stamp is very weak and I think it came from the factory that way but I can guarantee it would read CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY CO. LITTLE VALLEY N.Y. on the front and 11227 on the back. The blade has open, closed, and half stops very strong. The handles are complete with cocobolo wood that show carrying and use but no cracks. The bolsters and liners are iron which make this a very old knife from the 1910-1920's.
