Although the rare, old Cattaraugus Pen Knife you are viewing is being sold strictly as a collectible, it is still functional and can be used. Both blades are reasonably tight, but lazy. They stay open and shut with no problem. Neither of the blades show wear equal to their 120+ years of age. The handles show pocket polish, but are tight with no chips or cracks. It has the following specifications: Overall length large blade open -- 5-3/8 inches; Length closed -- 3-3/8 inches; Blade styles -- Spear point; Blade material -- forged carbon steel; Handle material -- aged honey colored bone and the bolsters are solid nickle / silver This is a rare old collectible from one of the world's finest knife makers.
