These particular pants were owned by LTC E.F. Westover, who served in the 1916 Punitive Expedition in Mexico, WWI and, as a 44-year old, in WWII (Westover lived to be 102 years and died in 2000). The pants have been in a footlocker for at least the last 40 years and are in very good condition, although they show signs of use by Col. Westover. They are made of the classic "khaki twill" fabric. They are 35-36" in the waist. The leg inseam is 23.5" and ends with laced "cuffs". 's a great opportunity for the cavalry re-enactor or collector to obtain a pair of these riding pants in a rare "human" size. The buyer will have my usual five-day right of inspection and return privilege. Weight 3 lbs.
