Caverswall Christmas 1989 Thimble This is a thimble produced by Caverswall of England to celebrate Christmas 1989. It is decorated with a gilded line around the base and a gilded snowflake on the apex, there is a picture of a Robin between two sprigs of holly with "Christmas 1989" in red below. The remainder of the thimble is decorated with a winter scene on a bridge. The inside of the thimble is stamped with "Caverswall England" in black letters with an ornate capital letter "C", and it is approximately 26mm tall by 20mm base diameter.The thimble is in excellent condition, with no chips, holes or repairs, it is not in the original box, but will be supplied in a clear perspex thimble dome which is suitable for storage or display.
