Caverswall Cobalt Fruit Painted Cabinet Plate - Signed R A Shufflebotham Offering for sale this fine quality Caverswall bone china cabinet plate which has a gadrooned edge, deep cobalt border and is beautifully hand painted with a still life of fruit & foliage. It measures 10.75 inches wide and is signed by R.A. Shufflebotham who previously worked at the Minton factory. The reverse carries clear factory marks. On close inspection there are a a few small light scratches to the cobalt ground and there are a couple of pin-head scratches to the paintwork but the overall condition is excellent with no chips or cracks, there is no crazing to the glaze and no obvious wear.
