75th Anniversary of II Squadron Royal Air Force Regiment 7 April 1997 cover signed by five former Commanding Officers JS(CC)29e RAF cover produced by ourselves in association with No 2 Squadron RAF Regiment to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of II Squadron RAF Regt. The artwork by Tony Theobald depicts a Harrier and Hercules with members of the squadron parachuting out the back and on the ground members of II Squadron are shown in the field. Cover bears 25p Belize stamp and is cancelled with Crown Agents 75th Anniversary of II Squadron handstamp. The cover was flown in a Hercules C-130 from RAF Lyneham and parachuted by II Squadron personnel to commemorate the 75th Anniversary and has been signed by five Commanding Officers of !! Squadron RAF Regiment. The five who signed are: Group Captain K Reyner (1969-71)Lieutenant Colonel W Hardy (1971-72)Wing Commander J Dale (1975-77)Group Captain M Basnett CBE (1979-82)Wing Commander A Steele (1992-95) .Official special numbered and certified on the reverse by Squadron Leader Des Hill (100 produced numbered 201-300).
