PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WATERMARK, EBAY PHOTO, IS NOT ON THE CARD ITSELF. You are bidding on a great old, original, BRADY cdv photograph of a Union Civil War Soldier. It is autographed at the lower border, Yours Truly, Capt ? C. Kittle, 61st N.Y.V, (Captain Kittle, 61st New York Volunteers). It is from Brady's National Photographic Portrait Galleries, New York and Washington. The card itself measures approx. 4" x 2 3/8", and the image is smaller as shown in the scans. He is in uniform and has a large beard and mustache. The card itself is probably in very good condition with a little wear at the corners, a small crease at the corners, a little edge wear and the card is bent a little, about the size of a dime at the top edge. There is about moderate darkening, spotting and cloudiness on the back of the card. The photo is probably in a little lower condition with some small wrinkles on the paper where it was affixed to the cdv, some darkening and cloudiness and some spotting. The image and the autograph are very nice. Please see our OTHER LISTINGS vintage paper items, photos and postcards, INCLUDING, other Civil War CDVs. We are happy to combine lots, when possible, to reduce the s/h costs.
