Simple, elegant cedar chest or trunk from Brazil with European Heritage: made by German immigrant Craftsmen, circa 1840-60. Great at the end of a bed or as a coffee table since it is flat on top. Dovetailed joints, with and interior compartment. Evokes a wondrous sense of age, from an earlier time when people built their houses with their own hands, tamed the land and cooked in outdoor ovens. comes with a letter guaranteeing authenticity.
