Vintage Baseball, CEDRIC DURST Autographed original 3x5 index card. Has signed and also written "New York Yankees World Champions 1927-28" Durst was an outfielder for the fabled "Murderers Row" 1927 Yankees a team that many experts consider the greatest team of all time. Durst played in the 1927 World Series in which the Yanks swept the Pittsburgh Pirates in four games. He batted .373 in the 1928 World Series for the World Champion Yankees. In addition to the Yankees Durst also played for the St Louis Browns and the Boston Red Sox. He died in 1971 |
