Celebrities of the Army Large Book Celebrities of the Army is a collection of colour portraits and short biographies of prominent officers from the Boer War. It includes, Major-General Sir Bindon Blood, Major-General Baden-Powell, Lieutenant-General Sir Drury-Lowe and Major-General sir H. A. Macdonald. Rare book, inside title page is missing so unsure of exact published date but expect it to be around 1900 (I have found similar ones online published by London - George Newnes in 1900 but can't guarantee this is the same edition). A beautifully illustrated collection of biographies of great men from the Boar War. See pics for condition or ask me a question! - Cover is worn and also some foxing and rips - overall good - front inside page has a small embossed stamp
