Selling a nice lot of autographed pictures/letters, two of the pictures are not autographed but I felt needed to stay in the lot, please read descriptions of each. Entire lot came from an estate sale, all letters are to a Professor Richard Thompson You will receive everything pictured- Roy Rogers autograph/picture, nicely matted signed "happy trails, roy rogers, trigger" 1949 photo- "testimonial dinner in honor of Dean Roscoe Pound, advisor to Chinese government" signed on back to prof. Richard Thompson from Christian Herter, a several term congressman who also ran a campaign for presidency but lost to Adlai Stevenson- tough signature to find. This one was stamped with COA. Cut autograph of Averell Harriman- Harriman served as a special envoy to both Churchill and Stalin 2 different "risque' pictures, one is a mid-late 1800's tobacco trade card for W.Duke,sons, with singer/dancer Charlotte Bee pictured(NOT signed), second is a Follies Theatre advertising card with the "red headed bal of fire" Betty Rowland pictured. It is signed "sincerely Betty Rowland" and was in an enveloped which says authentic auto but looks a little like auto-pen to me Large vintage black/white photo with groucho marx is NOT signed, but nice display piece, small tear in the top edge Letter on ABC-TV Network/The Champagne of Music letterhead(watermarked)
