*Cellar Bin Label * 1. HOCK Ogee shape, tinglazed with cobalt lettering and lining to nail hole. Gloss glazed front, unglazed buff rear. No maker's mark. Very good condition, surprisingly, no damage, ie. chips cracks or restoration. Some rubbing of glaze to both bottom corners. Rust staining to back and hole. Rather crudely made with uneven glaze including grit or bubbles and crazing but then with a rustic item such as this, one should not be looking for factory perfection. Tin lies its charm. Sizes; 10cms wide,7cms high, .7cms thick. Perfect if you have a cellar with a bin of German wines needing labelling. As ever, my start price is a joke. The item is located in London, UK.
