For sale as one lot - 6'' Celluloid political/cause pins featuring satirical caricatures of Robert F. Kennedy, former President Eisenhower, LBJ and French President Charles DeGaulle. There are minor pin prick foxing and discoloration on the four. Perhaps it can be removed. Besides that, they appear to be in great condition. All four are signed "D. Levine" The date on the RFK pin is 1964, Ike 1966 as is LBJ. DeGaulle is undated. The LBJ pin is of particular interest; he has opened his shirt showing a surgical sear that is unmistakably shaped like Vietnam, which proved to be his downfall. RFK is sporting his bouffant hair style and toothy smile, and Ike is perched upon a golf tee. In 45 years of collecting the consignor has never seen this political/cause set of large pins. RARE and Desirable.
