Offered is a very unusual and rare item for the specialist collector, an inverted cephalon of an Asteropygid trilobite, from the Hunsruck Slates (Lower Emsian) of thr classic locality at Bundenbach, Germany, that preserved some remnant soft parts; both antennae and a jointed anterior walking (or feeding?) appendage.This exceptional example may prepare further to reveal more detail..........trilobites with appendages./antennae represent less than 1% of trilobites recovered from this site. Matrix approx. 12cm X 7cmNo reserve for such a rare example of soft-part preservation, in fine condition too!
