lovely rare stoneware ceramic dog by artist and potter barry pittar who was born in 1878 he worked at doulton lambeth before leaving to become an artist and potter this piece probably dates to the twenties it is fully signed to base sadly the right leg has been broken and glued back on but it is barely noticeable this figure is a solid stoneware type material and is quite heavy it measures 7" long
