Vintage – 1930s? ceramic Toby Jug shaped as Man with Beard (Robin Hood??) Fancies Fayre, England. This is a good example of a small 2” high x 3” at widest point (handle to spout) ceramic Toby Jug that is shaped and nicely detailed as a man with a beard. He may be trying to be Robin Hood, but if not then he could be.... just a man with a beard. The jug is very colourful and is in lovely clean condition with no cracks, chips or even crazing to the glaze. The base has the mark Fancies Fayre, England.
