Ceremonial Navy Sword- Rear Admiral W.L. Friedell Authentic Jacob Reeds & Son'sRear Admiral Friedell's ceremonial sword manufactured by the premiere maker Jacob Reeds and Sons. Friedell was a decorated Sailor in WW1 and WW2. He supervised the search for Amelia Earhart's plane aboard the USS Colorado in 1937. He retired in 1946.This sword had beautiful detailed engraved designs; his name is engraved on the sword as well as the maker Jacob Reeds and Sons.This sword is in great condition complete with tassel and scabbard.There is a small amount of damage to the scabbard, a "bend/crease" in the leather. There is a small dent at tip of scabbard. This is a wonderful decorative authentic ceremonial sword.
