You are bidding on the 1st ever appearance of Silver Surfer and Galactus in Fantastic Four #48 (1966) and the 1st issue ever of Silver Surfer #1 (1968). Both books are 1st prints. Both books are included in the auction. Both books were delived from cgc today so both protective cases are perfect. The Fantastic four 48 has no writing on front cover, no missing pieces from the cover, no water damage, no rips, the cover is firmly attached, no restoration, the only major flaw as noted on the cgc label is large piece missing from page 15 which does NOT affect the story. T is a small ink blotch on the back (size of a quarter). Cream to off white pages. The cgc grade is a .5 as you can see below. The Silver Surfer #1 is complete, no missing pages or cut outs, no water damage, no writing. The front cover does have a large rip that extends from the binding about half way across the book, the cover is held on only by about a 2 inch stretch in the middle of the binding edge. T are no notes on the cover. Cream to off white pages. The cgc grade is 1.0 as you can see below. You will receive the comics pictured below.
