Offered is a fine, near-complete example of the enigmatic Middle Cambrian Coelocleritophore Chancelloria pentacta , from the Wheeler Shale Formation of Millard County, Utah, USA.At 4cm, this is a good sized partial specimen with fine detail of the stellate sclerites that adorn the outside of the colony. These beautiful fossils are known also from the Burgess Shales of Canada and the Chengjiang Shales of China.Matrix measures approx. 7cm X 5cm X 1.5cm.No reserve for such a fine and almost complete example!
