Lovely CHARLES DICKENS Book. CHRISTMAS BOOKS. A Christmas Carol. The Cricket on the hearth. The Chimes. Published by : George G Harrap and Company, 2-3 Portsmouth st. Kingsway, London. Printed : The Riverside Press Limited Edinburgh. Pictures By : MONRO. S. ORR. Lovely embossed front cover of Mistletoe, and on the spine. It has a date plate inside the front cover as seen in picture, 21, very browned and has foxing, been on my shelf awhile and needs looking after properly. 1st picture plate is loose as seen. The 3 pictures that are in the book are stuck in, not printed it must have been how they did it back then. Have not been able to find out much about this book it may be older than the dated gift plate in the front I do not know. Thank-you for looking. Will be well wrapped, for postage.
