Offering this nineteen volume set of Charles Dickens Works, Household Edition, published by D Appleton & Co New York and Chapman & Hall Ltd, London. No publish date but very late 1800's to early 1900's. Dark green cloth hardboards, decorative impressed design on front highlighted in black and gold gilt, spine has gold gilt lettering and decoration. Good++ condition on all, very light wear on spine edges, except two volumes which have slight damage to spine (see photo), all are very clean, no stains, holes, or cracked spines. Pages (printed in double column) are clean, no scribbling, stains, foxing, tears, or missing pages. Each volume, measuring 10 inches x 7 1/2 inches, is beautifully illustrated throughout and each chapter begins with an ornate caligraphy letter. Volumes included are: Barnaby Rudge, 46 illus by F.
