The information slug (detached from reverse, but included) reads: "Lindy gets $25,000 check for ocean flight / New York - Photo shows Col. Charles A. Lindbergh shaking hands with Raymond Orteig, after the latter had given Lindy the $25,000 prize for making the first non-stop flight from New York to Paris," and is dated 6-17-27 . The photo measures 8" x 6" and is in very good condition with some surface wear and minor wrinkling.
